Bio

Luis was born and raised on the border in Nuevo Laredo. He received his architecture degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Nuevo Laredo. Through his many years of work as a project manager, he has specialized in civic and educational projects, many of which involve historic preservation. He is particularly passionate about expanding his expertise of building codes and innovating beyond these regulatory mandates in a cost effective way.

Luis dedicates his spare time to reading about philosophy, architecture, history, and theology. He speaks multiple languages: English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Luis shares his knowledge and devotion teaching catechism and volunteering at his church. Watch out! – Luis is has a black belt in taekwondo.
