BUILDING BETTER CITIES: TRANSFORMING URBANISM THROUGH COMMUNITY-DRIVEN DESIGN
Our co-founder, Viviana Frank, recently spoke with the Council for Inclusive Capitalism about Able City’s mission and our community-centric approach to urban development.
Viviana highlighted how Able City aims to create sustainable, walkable, and remarkable communities in South Texas. She shared insights about our projects, unique approach to urban planning, and commitment to actively empowering communities to participate in their city’s development.
One standout story involved a group of young skateboarders from Laredo who, with the guidance of Able City, learned to leverage their civic muscle, resulting in the construction of a much-needed skate park in their city.
Additionally, Viviana discussed our recent recognition as the “Firm of the Year” for 2023 by our local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. This honor celebrates our dedication to community engagement and the multidisciplinary approach that sets Able City apart.
