With their combined expertise, Deepa and Mariela bring over 10,000 units in affordable housing, multifamily developments, and community-focused design that aligns perfectly with Able City’s mission to foster sustainable and inclusive environments.
Meet the Leaders of Able City Housing Studio
Deepa Modadugu brings over 17 years of experience in multifamily, senior, and student housing projects, as well as historic rehabilitations. Known for her meticulous approach to project budgeting, code compliance, and design development, Deepa ensures every detail is in place for the seamless execution of complex housing projects. Her experience overseeing diverse housing types and her commitment to quality assurance will further enhance our capacity to serve communities across Texas.
Mariela Valdivia has over 17 years of experience in affordable housing and urban development, with a strong focus on creating community-oriented, low-income housing solutions. Mariela has led the design and planning of thousands of affordable housing units and brings a deep understanding of the cultural and economic factors that shape resilient communities. Her leadership and design insight are pivotal as we continue to expand our affordable housing projects.
